I didnt' realize you weren't creating a public website. I kept
thinking I would be able to see your work someday. It DOES sound
interesting. It's also interesting to me, that by working on it,
you have access to read the reports. I BET it is fascinating.
Nothing new here either, much. I cannot understand my neighbors
though. I know he goes to work every day at something like 5:15
and she goes to work at 7:30. At 12:15 I woke up to a barely
detectable, but annoying THUD THUD which apparently was their stereo or
something (which unfortunately I think they gave each other at Christmas
because before this I only had their dog mud and cigarette butts, but no
stereo noise). The sound was almost subliminal, but I could just
hear it. I had a great deal of trouble THEN getting back to sleep.
That's not good because tonight is my "rough" night at school. In
fact, my stomach is a little queasy. I totally dread this class.
I have worked hours on preparing and am still not prepared. It's
actually a first year course, but one I skipped the first year because I
can't always take first year courses. In some ways, I think the
first year courses are more killers than the more advanced courses I've
taken. I told you about briefing cases. Some of them I did
took an hour or more (I still have one to try to finish up some time
before 6:30). There is a big shakeup going on in the hospital
TODAY about administration (We recently bought two other hospitals here
in the city). I just hope none of it affects me. Well, I'm
going to have to get out on that trail someday. Oh Chicago.
I thought of it as a blue collar place as well (you know Carl
Sandburg--Chicago--hog butcheror (sp?) for the world. The woman
said it had really changed (which is what I noticed but I didn't know it
was a change, just feeling I was wrong about the city.) What
struck me was all the in-line skaters, everywhere. Stores would
have signs--no skates. It looked like so much fun. People
were skating on long paths along the lake.
Well, back to work. Any resolution of your situation with Julie?
I noticed how you said "we" throughout your App. Trail discussion.
