Late afternoon I finally had time to read your note from yesterday, but it took forever as the internet was slow, and when I tried to reply I found I was running out of time.  I always try to read through the NYT before leaving, as well as the online Law Journal, so I used my last 30 minutes to do that.  So, that's good news about your ear.  I didn't actually know that the ear drum could grow back.  H(ears) to yours doing so!  Did you tell me you read a book called (I think) The Cobra Event.  Its a virus book.  I started reading it the other night and am enjoying it.  It is written by the same person who wrote Hot Zone.  Otherwise, I finally got through what's called the Z-pak of antibiotics--its a pak of five pills of one of the newer antibiotics which the doctor gave me "in case" I had a subliminal sinus infection.  The pills made me so sick, with diarrhea, it's a good thing I only had to take them five days.  I'm sure now that any germ I have in my body is eradicated. I was also given an Rx for Claritin, which to me seems very drying, but perhaps that's what I need.  It's also very expensive at 2.00 a pill.  Enough about such stuff.  I'm freaking out (a good 60's term) about law school classes.  I really like my classes, but because of that I start being an over achiever, wanting to do "the best."  I told myself this weekend to "back off" (it's okay to get a B or C), but it didn't work too well. 
 
Well, I may write more later.  I just wanted to say hello to yesterday's
message, and I'm glad to hear about your ear.  Elizabeth
