Subject: Life changes
Changed much? Of course I have changed over the years, how much?
That is a hard thing to quantify. The effects of being in a big
city has changed me somewhat. I would say I'm more confident in
myself. From having a long term relationship and a couple of years
of therapy I'm more conscious of myself and feelings and how what I say
and do affects other people. It is hard to be objective about
oneself when the changes have taken place slowly over many years.
The weekend was kinda slow, I went to the woodworking show on Saturday.
It was interesting and I could have spent a fortune but I had some
restraint. I did by a bunch of odds and ends, glue brushes,
disposable paint brushes (I hate to clean them), etc. I also
bought a power biscuit joiner, they are the latest thing in joining
boards together. I had an adapter for my router but it doesn't
work nearly as well as actual biscuit joiner. I now have to start
some project so that I can use it. It turned really cold again
last Friday so I spent most of the weekend inside. I did start a
bunch of flowers in plastic trays, it takes about 30-40 days for them to
be ready to plant so they should be ready in April after the last
freeze.
Oh yes, my hearing greatly improved over the weekend. It still has
a ringing but I can hear almost normal now. What a relief.
Well, back to work.
