I thought I would get off a note to you this morning before the week got
really busy. The new project is going well with only a few minor
glitches but that's expected. They are submitting the proposal
with me as the system architect to the U.S. courts project downtown.
It is supposed to start in June. I'm not sure what will happen if
we get it and what will happen to the project I'm currently working on.
Too little work is a real bore but too much work is impossible.
Julie and I went bicycling last weekend down Rock Creek Park in DC, it
is a short (15mi) but really pretty ride. This past weekend Julie
went to visit her father in Delaware. I spent all day Saturday
painting the woodwork on the outside of the house. Our townhouse
is mostly brick exterior but there is some cedar siding around the
bay
window, front deck and front window. The cluster inspectors came
wrote me up for needing to re-stain the woodwork last fall so I finally
got to it. It was a really nice day for it, around 80 and sunny.
It took all day but I kinda enjoyed it.
Sunday my daughter Anne came over and we went to see the new Star Wars,
I thought it was quite good. Not as novel as the first Star Wars, more
of the same in some ways but it was really action packed and the
computer special effects were great! I went by at 10am and got
tickets for the 4:30 showing and had no problem getting in.
Weather has been really nice here, mid 70's to 80, I haven't had to run
the air or heat all month. Raining today, which we really need,
being about 2" short for the month. Did you get your grade? Hope
you passed, it would be a real pain to have to re-take the course.
Well to work. Larry
