I was wondering what you thought about DVD players?  This is a stupid question, but do they hook up to an ordinary television set? My VCR is quite old, but still serviceable, except I can't record on extended play anymore, so I am limited to two hours at a time.  I have so many unwatched tapes anyway, its probably a good thing. I keep seeing VCRs for an incredibly low price, and have considering getting a new one, but then with DVDs on the market, I wondered.  Oh well.  Bored.  Thought I'd write again, although you may be gone, and not around for "conversing."  Elizabeth
