Hello Larry,
Your e-mail got buried. I think I did tell you that I had bought a
house and moved to Kosciusko, Mississippi, which is right on the Natchez
Trace. You'd love it for bicycling. My house isn't "much,"
but there was nothing to choose from to rent. The best thing is
that it is adjacent to the campus. Our property lines are next to
each other. I can walk to work and walk home for lunch.
This term I'm teaching Introduction to Psychology. The college is
VERY small, so my class is only four students!
I heard an interesting radio show today about the NECESSITY to take
stress breaks (through such things as yoga and meditation and vacations)
because the science is saying that this actually re-sets the natural
immune responses of the body, by removing stress and the constant
activation of the hormones which daily stress produces. It all
made sense. The irony, which was commented on, is that this is
knowledge which has been "known" for years, but is only now actually
being proved by science.
What did you do for Christmas this year! I enjoyed my trip and
visit there when I came, which I guess now is the Christmas before last.
Time truly flies.
Has your daughter gotten married yet? What phase is your yoga
teacher in, in terms of seeing you or not. If you truly like her,
I wish she would treat you better.
Stay in touch when you can.
