Well, I didn’t stay in touch but there is something about the end of the year that we seem to think of each other.

I'm just writing to say hello and Happy New Year!  We certainly lost touch this year.
 
What have you been up to lately?  I saw an article about you in the Washington Post--I don't know how I came across it--and I don't recall how old it was--but it talked about, of all things, your finances!
 
I just read last night that BellSouth has been purchased by AT & T, and there was some speculation about how that would impact on internet service providers.  We have BellSouth telephone service here, but I don't use their DSL.  I pay (through the nose) for high speed internet cable access, but that is what I got used to in Montgomery!  The campus where I work is wireless, and I think that if I sat in my back yard I could probable pirate the service, as my property is adjacent to campus.
 
I don't have too much new to say.  I really enjoyed the Christmas I spent up in D.C. at your place, which I guess has been several Christmases ago now. 
My holidays this year have been very quiet, and I had alot of time to spend alone, as we got a huge chunk of time off from work.
