I don’t know if I ever responded to her email of the last New Year’s Eve for I have no records it and here it is another year ending with both of spending Christmas day alone communicating with each other by email.

Hello Larry!
 
Just wondering what you are up to these days.  I have no clue whether this will even reach you. 
 
I think I'm going to have a VERY quiet Christmas.  Everyone seems to have left town.  I bought a steak and when I was in a non-dry county a month or so ago I picked up a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon (if I spelled that right!).
 
Did your daughter ever marry that guy?  Just curious.  Are you still at the same job?
 
At least we have good weather--the sun is in and out and it is not rainy and cold as it was some weeks back.
 
I KNOW you're probably still doing yoga, so you may be in some exotic place right now!
