The Lord of the Rings

On December 19 New Line Cinema released the first of The Lord of the Rings movies which I went to see the weekend it opened. The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy were some of my all-time favorite books. A few years before a cartoon version of The Lord of the Rings came out and it was terrible. After seeing the movie trailer this new version looked like it would be much better, and I wasn’t disappointed.  It was one of the first movies I saw that had “An AOL Time Warner Company” on the opening credits.
