Early this morning
The new year a dawning
I awake alone once again
So I roll a number
To put me under
That mind fuzzing haze once again
With my head a swimming
I start of dreaming
Of past gone days
The silence is deadly
But before it get to me
I put on a record
Dylan will comfort me

I wrote with Bob Dylan’s Tangle Up in Blue playing on the record player.

Early one morning,
the sun was shining
I was laying in bed
Wondering if she'd changed it all
If her hair was still red
