Subject: 200 mg. X 3
Most OTC ibuprofen is 200, but I think I've seen extra-strength.
I'm sure 200 X 3 will "do the trick" as that's prescription dose.
How is your stomach afterwards? If I take two 200 mg. I get "ill,"
queasy and nauseated with an irritated stomach (which most people get
with large
doses) which is why I take only one, usually before I go to sleep.
Personally, I never cared for Peck too much, but I care enough to "know
about him," like you, as he is so popular. I don't quite
understand why.
That's "neat" about the menu. I was going to ask you what you
(plural) were fixing, but I thought it would be too much trouble to
report. One "vegetarian" dish I have really taken a liking to is
couscous. So far I have just bought the boxed "mixes" which are in
the store--garlic, or parmesan, or pine nut (I didn't like that one or
vegetable--there's a whole line of them. I have some from scratch
recipes, but I would have to go to the health food store to get the
grain in bulk. I tried some disastrous things with tofu not too long
ago, although I love tofu with onions, peppers, and tomatoes, just sort
of stir fried (Do you remember the Mother Earth restaurant in
Gainesville. They served it for breakfast which is where I got the
idea--Boy I had forgotten about Mother Earth--they had the best huevos
rancheros).
Thanks for the explanation--I had no idea about scanning or what it
could do--just my one stone-age experience in the 1980's.
I absolutely love therapist movies, or I'm a sucker for them. My
favorite of all time, I think is "Dressed to Kill" with the British
author Michael Caine. He plays a therapist who is, I believe, a
cross-dresser, with a repressed female identity. There are all
sorts of scenes with mirrors where you see the man and his reflection,
sort of splitting his identity. I remember after "Ordinary People"
that a lot of therapists complained about the portrayal, although he was
a "good guy" therapist. I also love therapist "books," although
Jonathan Kellerman is NOT a good writer. The first book I read of
his I thought, "What an egoistical jerk." But, he's made
mega-bucks. Stephen Gregory is much better. But, with such
books in general, I "forget" them as soon as I read them. One of
the book store clerks sort of laughs at me because I keep a list of
"popular" books like that which I've already read. If I didn't I'd
buy them again--not always--but they don't stick as other books do.
I liked your bike. But, is is "big" enough for you. One
thing that throws me about a new bike is that my old one was 27 inch.
Your bike looks small to me. Oh, by the way, you looked really
nice in that picture, as if you are in good shape.
Can you tell. It's a slow day. Elizabeth
