Subject: Good to Hear From You
Thanks for getting back in touch. I was a little concerned, and
didn't know whether to keep sending messages or not. You are
obviously in pain, which is understandable. Your life is wrenching
apart by Julie's plans to move out. To me, it seems like such a
big and dramatic step, actually moving out, and taking Ann, as opposed
to just packing a few bags and staying somewhere for a while. It
does sound like you are able to keep up your work. I don't mean to
be sexist, but men are often able to do that, for some reason, more than
women. Although lately I've thought that this is because often men
have more meaningful jobs to which they are committed. When I had
pits jobs and relationship problems, it made me hate going to work even
more. Well, it may sound a little trite, but if you want to try
talking or e-mailing, to sort through things, I'm here. Probably
journaling, if you still do that, or even if you've stopped, would be
helpful. I wish what is best for you.

P.S. Alabama votes today. There is a slim chance we may get rid of
the ignorant clod who is the current gov. Ironically its going to
rest with black voters, because they usually vote democratic. Most
of the Christian fundamentalists supporting the current gov are white.
I'll vote when I get off work. Another
P.S. My car cut out yesterday in major traffic for some reason,
but I had no real problem and it started right up. However, it
made feelings of vulnerability surface, something I've had to deal with
more since my mother died. Its strange being without either
parent.
