I still haven't recovered fully in that I feel at times as if I'm
walking around in circles getting stuff done. Last night I stopped
on the way home and bought a small table lamp which was on sale and
picked up some antifreeze for my car. I also went to the video
store and stocked up on some videos. The store here has started a
five day rental program, which works really great for me because the few
times I get to watch videos I usually am "catching up" on things I miss
and get at least four. To show you how I haven't recovered, I
don't think I can recall just now WHAT I did select to watch. I
know one was the love story movie about Queen Victoria and her
horseperson which was a very highly rated movie. I'm sure I got
some thriller suspense type movies, but can't recall what. Oh, I
also got Kundun, about the Dalai Lama. Later, of course, because
of Iraq, I watched lots of news. While running around I swung by
the law school, but no grades were up yet--although its really early to
expect them one prof did say he might have his by Wed. Otherwise,
nothing new. I'm glad I'm not living in a country with Scud
missiles falling on my head.[1]
Elizabeth P.S. What are your plans for Christmas? Today we
have our employee party--lots of unhealthy food.
[1] Her reference to Iraq and scud missiles was to Operation Desert Fox, a major four-day bombing campaign on Iraqi targets from 16 to 19 December 1998, by the United States and the United Kingdom.
