Enlightenment

After I got settled into my new place I painted “Enlightenment”.   The original full title was “Enlightenment of the Silver Magnatoid” which was written on a piece of paper glued at the bottom of the original frame.  After many years of people asking me what a “Magatoid” was, I shortened the name to just “Enlightenment”.   Thirty some years later I had it reframed and it now hangs on my bedroom wall.  Of all the paintings I have done this remains my favorite, and though I never reached Enlightenment, I would one day live in Nirvana.
