Julie, Anne and I spent Christmas at home on Easy Street. Julie’s
sister Louise and her boyfriend John came over on Christmas day and
Julie and Louise made a wonderful Christmas dinner.

The week after Christimas we drove up to Gainesville to see the family. Brenda and Tom had returned to the U.S. from Austria for several weeks with their three sons Kristopher, Jeremy and Andrew. Beth and Mark with baby Zack flew back from Washington State and brother David was there. It made quite a crowd, but I had a good time seeing them all, but the question remains, why wasn’t Julie, Anne and I in the picture. Someone had to take the picture, I don’t remember doing so but it was likely me. Mom was always the organizer for pictures, deciding who was in them with some theme, was this was a picture of daughters, their husbands, and grandchildren. Here is the photo of me, Julie and Anne taken that Christmas.

Rosalie’s Diary
Dec. 31. 1982
Here I am alone on the last day of 1982, tomorrow is the beginning of a new year. I haven't been in the hospital for over a year but have had bronchitis several times this year. Right now I feel pretty good. Thank the Good Lord for everything. God is Good.
