Munduk

After traveling from Sanuar we arrived at the hotel Puri Lumbung in Munduk where we stayed the next four days.  Munduk is a small mountain village with stunning views of terraced rice fields among the clove trees on one side and the valley leading down to the ocean on the other.  The rooms in Puri Lumbug were patterned after rice storage buildings. 

From Munduk we did several hikes, to the waterfall, the rice fields and the temple on the lake.  And there was the hike that separated the chickens from the ducks, the hike up the volcano.  I hate to say I was a chicken so I didn't get pictures of the volcano.   We also had a most wonder dance performance at the Puri Lumbung.
