Ubud

After leaving Munduk we arrived at the hotel Alam Sari in Ubud were we spent 7 days.  Ubud is set among the green rice paddies and steep ravines of central Bali and is the arts and culture center of Bali.  From our rooms we looked out over terraced rice fields, clove trees and volcanoes in the distance.   Each day we left our hotel after yoga practice and did day trips.  These included several temples, a water purification ceremony, mask making, the Barong dance and of lots of shopping.
