Fishing has long been part of the Mixson family history.
My grandpa and grandma Mixson depended on fishing for food but it also had
great joy for them as my grandma wrote in her stories. My dad
following in his father's footsteps also greatly enjoyed fishing.
My brother and I begin fishing as kids when dad would take us out to grandpa
and grandma's and we would all go down to Plantation Lake and fish.
